Brief background

The principles of LNOB, the central tenet of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, can improve the likelihood of successfully implementing SDGs by focusing on the most left-behind populations. UN Indonesia conducted a data driven study on LNOB in 2022, which found that the furthest left behind groups across all development dimensions are persons with disabilities and elderly people living in remote or disadvantaged areas.
